My mother Mildred WEVER (b:1914) and my grandparents lived in Illinois from
ca 1916 until Feb 1923.
Although their mailing address was R. #1, Ogden, Ill
my mother attended the Fariview School in Vermilion Co., IL.
Mother remembers her "best friend" as being Katie Duitsman who
"lived just across the creek".

I have located the two families on the 1920 census images in Pilot Twp., Vermilion Co.,IL.

Household 176 Family 180
Weaver, Read age 28, Gladys (wife) age 25, Mildred (dau) age 5

Household 201 Family 204
Dutsman, Heye age 34, Hannah (wife) age 25, Christine (dau) age 6 and Katie (dau) age 5.

Now I would like to find Katie or possibly her children and put my 87 year old mother in touch with a "piece of her past"
